Works great. We use it everyday at the gas station/convenience store. There is a lot of counterfeit money circulating and this is definitely helping keep our store!** update October 21st -Now you have to play with the power cord in order to get the machine to turn on to work… It’s more of a pain now.

It's not simple you have to have some knowledge of bills . Actually I'm gonna return it and get something better.

The only reservation on this device is that the blue light if way too dim as it should be. It does not shine as a bulb but rather as specific places within the opening. It takes some maneuvering to get the features appear under the ultraviolet light.If the manufacturer makes this type of light brighter, it will be an absolute 5 stars. It’s quality, looks, and performance are amazing.

As a device for detecting counterfeit bills this machine does nothing more than other detectors that are a fraction of the price. My opinion after testing the Accubanker, is, save your real money and stick with a more reasonably priced option.
