Simple examples
Initial Step
Clamp a workpiece with the milling chuck. Use any necessary setup tools if possible. Mill the workpiece as in the picture.
Stack different Angle Plate
- Place angle plate (maybe with other setup tools like a pair of precision parallels) on the milling vise, against the vise jaw. (b)
- Place the workpiece against the angle plate, rotating the workpiece until the face just machined is against the angle plate without any gap. (a)
- Clamp the workpiece with the vise jaws and put the angle plate aside.
- Mill the workpiece with the cutter at the same level as the first step. (c)
Final Shapes
Repeat steps 1, 2, 3, and 4 until the workpiece gets the right shape.
- Repeat 1 time, you get the shape on the left
- Repeat 5 times, you get the shape on the right

As with just about any angle gauge, as long as the angle is right, they work. These are perfect for using on my mini mill. It would be nice if the size stamps were a little more clear, but if you keep them in the box they're fine.
