Chucking reamers are also known as machine reamers. They are the most common type of reamers used in lathes, drill presses and screw machines that provide a smooth finish to the hole. Regarding the counts of flutes, the more flutes a chucking reamer is with, the better performance it has. Accusize chucking reamers come with straight flutes and straight shanks.
- Reamers smaller than 1/8" are with 4 flutes.
- Reamers larger than 1/8" are with 6 flutes.

I now have two sets of these, with the first set purchased a couple of years back and used in my shop at work. Decided to buy a second set for at home.The wooden case is so-so but serviceable. The reams themselves are accurately sized and easy to use either by hand or chucked into a holder (or even drill). I use them for additive manufacturing.

Quite nice reamers but case a bit flimsy. I had to repair the case when I got it, may have had a drop in the mail.

I wished I'd bought this set years ago. Having the right size reamer is really nice. Metric sizes are sort of odd as there aren't options for .001" under a standard for a press fit or anything like that but they have worked well on sliding fits.

I hope the reamers are of better quality than the box represents! The hinges are bent and the screws are bent. Too much weight for a cigar box.

So far, these work great. The sizes seem to be accurate and they hold up well to normal hobbyist use.The box they come in isn't the best quality, but I bought these for the reamers, not for the box.

This is a nice set and very accurate. The length is convenient for what I do and they are holding up well with careful use. The box was a bit floppy so I modified it to open like a book with hinges on the side. It is a handy set with an easy to read index.

Box was broken on arrival, this was the same with an imperial set purchased at same time. Contacted Accusize as per package insert before reviewing (their request on insert).Not an easy fix as the hinging mechanism is involved and it has oil from the reamersThey say they have no record of purchase and must be a third party. I am unable to determine a third party!
