I used this today on mild steel and it gave a very nice finish. I think that the one piece construction makes it more rigid the two piece mill/arbor units that I have. It's good value.

I’m a busy guy, I work full time, I have four kids and a wife, and I’m trying to start up my own small business. Writing reviews takes some time, and time is very valuable to people that are in similar positions as myself. I felt this is one of those products that has earned a few minutes of my time because it has performed so well. Let me start by saying I’m fairly new to milling, I don’t always know what to expect (finish wise) with each bit. Others have posted have posted that it produces an almost mirror like finish. I was not disappointed. I’m building jigs for my wood lathe out of aluminum blocks. The blocks had a few rough edges after being cut down to size. I need two pieces to go together, but slide against each other, with minimal resistance as I positioned them into place. The finish is outstanding, I liked it so much that I purchased two other sizes and had them delivered today. The product is SOLID, it fit perfectly into my R8 spindle and had no issues threading in. When cutting, it’s so beefy, there is no slop or movement. Going to order new cutting blades just for the hell of it (nothing wrong with the ones I have just want back ups).

So I did NOT expect much here, and am very pleasantly surprised with this mill. Beefy as one could expect. No obvious runout on the face or base of the cutter. Popped in some cheapo uncoated C520 (C2) carbides, to do aluminium, all ended up within .001 of each other feeler gage to a measuring block.First use shown, 6061-T651, about 900 rpm, slow auto feed, initial took off .050, then final pass climb milled at .010, pretty worn Bridgeport clone, head trammed to about .0015 (best I can do.) Result was more than great for me. Cut like butter, I may try a .100 or so pass next. For the money I like it, a lot. Price here way under listed on Accusize site, and actually out of stock there presently (Jan 2018.)

Exceptional finish and insert quality so far, only cut aluminum but easy to use, already torqued inserts, seems well built for a Chinese tool. Few Chinese tools are actually good, while most are poor quality, but higher priced Chinese tools can be good quality. In this case it seems to be well made and good quality materials. Will update if anything changes. 3 inch diameter cutter is a bit aggressive for an old but well cared for and rebuilt spindle, so take light cuts. I'll likely get a 2-inch facing mill to see if that reduces the head noise under load.

Keyway not wide enough to install. Had to cut wider in order to use, and am sure it was the tool as it is the only one that I have ever had to cut in order to use, and it measured narrow. I chose to repair it as opposed to returning it due to time and needing it right away. It cuts very smooth once installed so I am happy with that however, with all of the others out there that do not need worked on in order to use I hope they step up with some king of explanation and possible different size endmill for my time to verify they have addressed this without having to risk my time and money again, otherwise I will not be buying anymore gambling that it will arrive useable. So far any other tools I have purchased from them have been great, so hoping this was a Friday night tooling error or something.

I had read so many reviews on these that I was hesitant about trying it out. But I really needed a facing mill tool for the mill and I am not yet good enough to justify buying a good one at 4x the cost. The end mill cuts mild steel quite easily and leaves a reasonably good finish. A final pass with a very shallow cut and high speed low feed rate gave exceptional results. I was able to cut mild steel at all sorts of speed and depths.

I just got this today and am impressed it really does a nice job. I tested it on some castings on angle brackets where the clamping sides were unfinished, totally unacceptable, this three insert mill just whizzed the rough casting down to a nice flat not to mention a nice looking surface that will provide perfectly parallel clamping. There are various inserts available for most known materials so this should be a very versatile tool in my shop that will get a lot of use. Not a exhaustive testing by any means but unless in the unlikely event of some totally unforeseen surprise issue cropping up I see no reason not to just say "What are you waiting for?"

This has become my main roughing end mill. Very effective and much cheaper in the long run than regular end mills of this size. The inserts are very durable.

I bought the 2" end mill this to use on my 3/4HP manual import mill (Craftex CX600). This is my first use of insert tooling on a small mill and I am impressed. It left a very smooth, clean surface on steel at different RPMs (600 to 900) and different feed rates. Squaring up a 4x1x0.5" bar of cold rolled steel was quick. The inserts show no sign of wear. I also ordered a set of 10 replacement inserts and the size specified in the tool description is correct. Now I want to make some holders for the same inserts so I can use them on my lathe. This is not a sponsored review. I'm just a guy who makes stuff in his basement. Stay safe ;)
