This tool can be adjusted to accommodate your dial indicator gauge or what not. It is very easy to adjust and even easier to position for usefulness.This product could use a bit more weight to it and a thicker base. It appears to be very thin and the adjustment posts limit adjustment due to height. This product is still very useful but could use some adjustments.

Bought to use at work in the height stand, already moved and lost by coworker. Will probably replace it. I do recommend the product.

Upon using this for the first time, I couldn't seem to tighten the clamp enough to stop the movement of the clamp around the small top post. I soon realized that the post itself was spinning in the small bore it was placed in. I was able to pull it out by hand. A little red Locktite fixed the issue but it begs the question of why the posts are not secured better before getting to the customer. You could even add a few drops of solder to the bottom part of the bore and that would be a less permanent solution if you don't want to effectively glue it together.
