This ultra-precision 1 2 3 block pair comes with 5 pieces of 3/8"-16 socket head cap screws, 1 pair of 23-hole 1-2-3 blocks, and 1 hex key. The 23-hole feature provides more configuration than the other 1-2-3 blocks. The cap screws and the hex key saves you time on the setup of the machines. The 0.0001"/1" squareness, ±0.0001" height accuracy in pair, and ±0.0001" parallelism can give you much more accurate results. The 1-2-3 blocks are for both metalworking and woodworking. Mill Setup Tools
1-2-3 precision blocks are precision ground block at exactly 1 inch by 2 inches by 3 inches. The 2-3-4, 2-4-6, and 25-50-75mm blocks apply the same principle. The blocks are accurately ground, so they are the standard that machinists use in terms of setting up, doing fixturing, touching off tools. They can be used with various milling machines' setup tools such as height gauge and test indicators in inspection for calibration and measuring.
Count of holes of Accusize Precision Blocks
- The holes on the precision blocks enable them to be bolt together into different configurations. So the more holes a block has, the more configurations the pair of the blocks can create.
- The precision blocks with fewer holes or without holes have advantages. During the milling application, the craps, chips, abrasives from the wheel, coolant, etc., could enter the blocks' holes. It lowers the total productivity of the work. The concerns can be solved by using the blocks with fewer holes or even no holes.

Don't take the rest of this review to suggest these are "just as good" (Lordy, Lordy, I hate that phrase). But for a hobbyist these aren't bad. Surface plate says they are pretty darn good; a half thou indicator barely twitches...

This is a quality product and is accurate enough for a hobby machinist and maybe more. However, I am a novice and not qualified to comment further.

I spent more money than the cheap version cause this one comes with 4 bolts but 90% of the holes wont work. I've tried cleaning out the holes - they just wont work. I'm so mad I almost want to give it 2 starts but they are machined to an unbelievably accurate size so I guess that's not fair. But why in the hell do you machine something that accurate and then put in holes that aren't straight. Frustrating!!!!!!!

Key to these blocks with bolts - the bolts DO NOT go thru the non-theaded holes, despite the fact that a 'seller' responded to my question indicating that they did. That answer is just plain wrong. Like all of the other $10-30 range blocks, the bolts thread into the threaded holes, but DO NOT slide through the non-readed ones - which is a design error. The point of the non-threaded holes it to allow you to bolt one block to the other one, and you cannot do that with this set. So forget these inexpensive sets with bolts and allen keys, and just buy the cheapest ones that are just the blocks because all you can get from these things it the 1" 2" and 3" dimensions and their weight. Might as well get the ones without holes, though I suppose you could use the holes as a place to allow a drill bit to go through or some other model making benefits (storage for small paint brushes?). But for bolts, forget it.

I checked these blocks on a surface plate after cleaning away the vaseline, and I was unable to detect any flaw in them. Rock solid! Very nice product for the price.

I got this one with the bolts so I could use my other 2 accusize 1,2,3 blocks with this set so I would have 4 blocks to use as spacers. The bolts went in this new set ok but when I tried to bolt 1 with my old set the holes didn't line up. It was off just slightly but enough that the bolt would not hold the second block, which defeats the purpose of the blocks for me. If I want to bolt 4 together I should be able to.

Good value for the money. Product is square and a nice weight. I’m happy with it but there are no branding indications on the product. Looks like a knockoff. It will do the job, so I’m happy.

Dimensions are off. The thru holes aren’t large enough for the bolts to pass thru. Haven’t decided if they’re even good enough for a beater pair or if I’m gonna send them back.
