Replaced both fan motors on my 89 IROC (dual fans) and the motors have a shoulder on the retaining plate. Old blades would not fit. This new 12 inch blade appears to be an updated version that fits motors that have a shoulder on the retainer plate, or a spacer for motors that do not have the shoulder. If your motor has the shoulder like the motor I have pictured, simply do not use the Y shaped spacer.
