I actually had these sitting around for 3-4 years before I actually installed them. My 2001 Honda Civic had the original rear drum brakes after 300K+ miles, and finally started to make grinding noises.I see now that they cost double what I paid, which is unfortunate, but everything costs double these days compared to pre-covid. Every aftermarket part I've ever had that was made of metal brake calipers, rotors, etc., always develops a rusty looking coating like within a few weeks. It's just surface rust, but I didn't want to see that on these drums, so I immediately put some flat black high temp paint on them prior to install.One of the photos shows rust proof coating, but mine did not have that. They're basically just "covers" for the rear brake shoes, and they fit fine. Satisfied, and hope they last for the rest of the life of the car.

Nice drums, fit perfectly. Some reviews mentioned not receiving what was pictured. My came as advertised and have the black paint on them. I ordered two on separate days and both were the same and seem to be great quality. Can't believe these are $24

I needed a rear drum for my 2002 Civic and found these on Amazon for half of the normal price. AcDelco has always provided high quality parts and this one of them. I wish I had ordered two.

Fit and finish were really great. I also bought a can of Rust-Oleum High Heat 2000 degrees and applied several coats before installation following the instructions on the can. They've been on for a month, aren't making any noise, and are doing their job. The parking brake is working a bit better now, too.

I bought two of these and one fit the other didn't. After doing my pad I put on the first drum and it would not fit, no matter how I adjusted it. I put the second drum and it would. I noticed the peening on the side of the drum had different suffix numbers but the boxes were identical. It's past the time to return it. It would be nice if I could trade it for a good one. I'm happy with the one that fit though.

it was delivered fast, looks like a good quality at this price. it fits my 2005 civic so well. I coated it with antirust coating before installation. I like the parts hopefully it will last for some years.

Would be nice if they were coated like the picture is pretending to show. Had no choice but to use them once they arrived.Requires corrosion protection or you’ll be replacing them again soon.
