When my dogs take off on a walk (in the remote woods where I live) I intended to use these whistles to call them back and guide them toward me. But they're just not loud enough. I use Fox 40 whistles instead, much louder, which is what I need.

Good one piece dog whistle, no parts to come unscrewed and fall off like the metal ones have done in the past.My wife did snap hers in half somehow across the air outlet where it is quite thin but the whistle was at over 2 years old and got caught in her binoculars around her kneck.We had no hesitation in buying the same whistle again as a replacement as our dogs recall to it at even 100 yards away is excellent.
