The tuning pegs will not stay in place. There's a noticeable buzz on one of the strings. Overall, it'll do but not something I would actually use for school performances. It just keeps my child from having to lug back and forth something from school. The reality is my child will eventually outgrow the instrument, both physically and in skill, so a temporary solution will be Ok.
