This is a good cable for the money, it may not last as long as a name brand one but it works just fine. It does fit Canon EOS R and R5 just fine, so I have no idea what the other review is talking about. It would be nice if the sync housing was a little lower in profile but I can't complain too much for the price.

I don't know if the internals are severed or what but I have a similar cable but much longer that works fine, same pc cable and same 2.5 mm jack. The one sent to me does not fire or communicate at all.

I wished to buy a flash input sync cable for connecting the Hasselblad SWC/M with my Hasselblad CFV-50C digital back. After i had received the cablke, it can be used to connect Hsselblad V series camera with the CFV-50C but not the SWC/M. The size of plastic wrapping the plug is too big and battery cannot be inserted if the Soros cable is used for SWC/M.
