I have a Sony a6000, using it for video. Before this permanent power adapter, if you've used these cameras you know how fast the battery is die and at the worst possible times.This power adapter completely resolved problems with video work cutting off at the wrong times. It fit in the battery compartment flawlessly, it seems to be durable enough quality, and the great part is the camera is able to function with the battery door open or close if you don't want to risk the little bit of extra pressure from the wire inside.I don't see how I could be more happy with the product.

Great if you don’t have an extension cord. They’ll save you time if you don’t wanna charge your batteries or run long duration shows/film

Works great, I use it for my camera when I stream and have no major problems with it. My only complaint is that after you turn your camera off you have to disconnect the battery before it will let you turn your camera back on(honestly not that big of a deal). As far as battery heat it gets a little warm naturally but not hot by any means

I was dubious at first on a reason why I should purchase this for this for my Sony A6000 Camera. But once I began setting up a pod cast station at home this power source option gained attraction. As I discovered that having two batteries extended adapter was in the way for the micro HDMI port. In frustration I impulse purchased trusting this would solve that problem. And it surely did and then some. None stop power to my camera and no battery heat to affect the sensor or image quality . Officially a must for home studio or astrophotography. Including that by having this product you can operate hands free you camera for those multiple exposure shots. Right now my two batteries power source gives me anywhere from 2 to 4 hrs of street photography . Once again I will say awesome product.
