The only way you notice that this is now a real fissile is by the weight. This is a fantastic reproduction. Color is great, finish is very much like similar real fossils I have. Collectors or kids will love it and it’s really big. One and a half palm widths and I have large hands. Totally happy.

I got this for my 5-year-old grandson who wants to be a "fossil finder" when he grows up. He loved it, he proudly tells and shows everyone that will listen what he got and what it is. Great gift for the younger ones to pique their interest. He loves dinosaurs and now it very interested in their bones. My daughter says he carries it around the house in his pocket and she has to check his pockets when they leave for school. I know it is not real but he does not, i believe this kind of gift makes kids want to learn more which is a good thing.

The only thing that gives this away as a model are the fact that it’s not in a museum drawer, there’s a few “dead†spots (flat and no texture) from the mold, and it’s weight. Otherwise, this is a great buy for kids or adults

Our daughter loves dinosaurs and has been saying she wants to be a paleontologist for as long as we can remember. She loves this replica. This was a great addition to her growing collection.
