I have four 6.5 inch Cobalt Blue speakers. First the holes in the grills did not line up with the holes in the speaker. Second, the holes in the grills were overhanging on one side when lined up on the other. Also, the grill itself hung over the speaker by about 1/4 inch all the way around. I would have to drill new holes in the grill and my speakers to even get these to mount.

These are really nice looking 8" speaker grills. They have real metal mesh covers. The bezel is ABS plastic as you would expect.These mount separately from the speaker. Meaning the speaker has its own screws that holds it to the surface and these grills have a separate set of screws spaced wider that the speaker mount screws.The metal mesh isn't connected to the plastic bezel which might cause some rattling issues. I would recommend mounting these with some double sided tape or a gasket. I will most likely use the 'baking soda and crazy glue method' to permanently attach the mesh to the bezels.Also included are sixteen 3/4" screws for mounting. These grills are about $11 each. That's a pretty good price for what you're getting.Definitely recommended!

As always with speaker grille covers, measure first to find the ones that best work for you. Detailed measurements are provided by the manufacturer.About the covers themselves...the blue color is a nice "cobalt-ish" blue. Glossy and attractive. However, the grilles were all packed in a long, thin rectangular box with nothing in between them so they were able to bang against one another inside of the box. A few of mine ended up arriving with some small chips out of the blue paint. Very poor packaging, especially when I've ordered other grill covers from this company and they have arrived in a more solid box and individually wrapped in plastic baggies. Not sure why these were just thrown in a flimsy box. Amazon did not help as they were then put in one of their paper envelopes, but not sure that would have mattered anyways.In summation, really nice covers in an attractive blue color. Very poor packaging by the company who made them.

These are great looking grill covers, but if you need to cover a hole that is 3" across, you will need the next size up. The inner piece is exactly 3" across so the hole really needs to be no larger than 2 3/4" across to keep from slipping through and to provide enough room for the attachment screws. If that works for, then I think you will be happy with these covers.
