I removed the plastic covering and slid the two pieces together, the fit of the two pieces is just sloppy. I pick it up to put in the display case and it falls apart on to the floor and one of the pieces breaks in half. If you purchase this I suggest glueing the two parts of the stand together with gel super glue. Once glued the stand is sturdy and holds a basketball very well. Seller cares about his feedback as he contacted me after my review, I would buy from him again.
