You need to increase the recommended percentage mix (i use almost 50% sometimes!) but it does work well. The bottle though, GOOD GOD. Did nothing but leak. It was infuriating. Bought these bottles from Amazon to decant them into bit by bit and now I’m perfectly happy. The half used bottle sits in a red solo cup in a closet.

I'm an acrylic painting noob and thought I'd give this a shot as I'm experimenting on how to give myself more time to work with acrylic paints. The product label recommends using 10% retarder to paint but I found the paint still dried too fast. I upped it to about 30-35% and that seemed to work much better.
