Sometimes, I need to step off my front top step, to the grass on the side of my house. The step-down is a bit deeper than my ancient knees can handle safely. So I keep this in a cabinet, on my deck, for just such uses.It folds down to something very flat, so storage is not problem. It isn't overly heavy & is easy to open. Once open, it does not collapse accidentally. It has non-slip dots on the top & has a fairly high weight capacity- about 300 pounds, I think. Thankfully, I don't weigh anywhere near that, so it holds my weight -185- securely.Money well-spent for my safety.

Very lightweight & folds in a second for easy storage. When you first use it you might think it is not sturdy. I looked carefully as max weight was used by friend & it is a slight flexing of the legs for maximum sturdiness. I have never hesitated to use since watching over 300 pounds step into it. I did purchase the wider one & with easy storage I recommend it just as a precaution at my age, 60+ is all you need to know!

Perfect for the job. I have large feet and I feel confident standing on it. The steps stool is sturdy and it fits into a small space.

This folding step stool is a real lifesaver! It's sturdy enough for me to reach those high cabinets, but folds up compactly for easy storage. The wide platform feels super stable, and the non-slip surface gives me extra confidence. Definitely recommend it for anyone who needs a little extra height around the house.

A nice stool I purchased because of stated capacity of 300#. At 260 I thought all would be good and it was for 2 months, until it broke. Will be buying another but different brand.***Update on first review. I did not contact the seller of the stool, I suspect Amazon sent them my feedback. They expressed genuine concern over the stool that broke and offered a couple thoughts as the reason for the breakage, never once mentioning I may have been too fat to step in the center of the stool. I was 40# under rated cap, but pushing the limits I suppose. They could not have been nicer and wanted me to have a solution. I elected to try the same stool in standard, not 15" extended length, I'm sure it will be stronger in the center and cause no issues. Kudos to customer service for ACSTEP, job well done. Thank you.
