Installed in my 2009 Subaru WRX along with the Exedy OEM replacement clutch. Went in just fine and has been great. I've done a lot of modifications to my car recently so I can't tell a giant difference between this and stock though it is quite a bit lighter. I haven't noticed any difficulty taking off from a stop and there's no chatter when decelerating. I'm very happy with it.

So I purchased this flywheel for my 06’ Wrx over a year ago. Shortly there after I had some random miss fire issues on all the cylinders. I had a reputable shop install a few different upgrades at the time so they could tune it on-site as well.Long story and a lot of money later and a lot of wasted time by my tuner, I came across some people having this same issue and found out that this flywheel is actually a little to lite which causes these misfires.I replaced all injectors, all coils, all plugs (twice), had two separate dyno tunes, etc etc.ACT is a good brand.. But I’m upset that a $300 flywheel turned into a year of headache and extra expenses. I know some people who run this flywheel and don’t have any issues too, so I guess I wish you the best of luck if you choose to purchase this particular one.

I can’t say anything about performance because for some reason it wouldn’t install correctly in my 2006 wrx wagon 5MT. I had a local shop replace my clutch and also install this flywheel. However when they went to install the flywheel the clutch was very hard to depress and also stayed on the ground once pressed to the floor. Shop didn’t want to deal with figuring it out so they installed an oem flywheel. They said the clutch fork was too far away from the push rod and therefore the clutch wouldn’t engage.

What can I say? It's pretty but I can't see it. This wheel is just the right weight for my setup. The exedy and other brands are too light. The car revs smoothly and feels faster. Installed along with the Exedy FJK1001 Clutch.

To sum up what could be a long review; very good product, all expected parts are there. The quality and difference you feel will be very noticable.

Very happy with this flywheel. Was originally pretty bummed out because I excitedly took off the stock flywheel in a hurry and misplaced the bolts attaching it to the crankshaft. I thought that the included bolts were for mounting the flywheel to the crankshaft, but they are actually for mounting the pressure plate and clutch to said flywheel.Great flywheel. Very happy :D

This lightened flywheel by ACT is the s***t!!! Subaru runs like never before, engine winds up much faster. Also recommend Perrin lightened harmonic balancer.

Bought an EXEDY OEM replacement clutch for my 2013 WRX and mated it to this flywheel. I have zero chatter in the clutch, engagement is smooth, and the whole job only took about 5 hours with a lift.
