I started using the litter breeze system about 4 years ago. Back then the pads were reasonably priced and a great alternative to a regular litter box. The breeze system is effortless to clean, has much less odor and my cats seem to love it. I was doubtful when I first made the switch, knowing how much cats love to dig in their litter, but they seem to get just as much joy from the pellets.Suddenly the breeze pads jumped in price ridiculously. There is just no reason that I can see other than greed that they should have climbed so high. You can still get the scented pads at a somewhat reasonable price but have you smelled them? They're unbearable and they make the cat pee smell even worse!Enter the Peritas Cat Pads.... I was worried that they wouldn't be as absorbent or that they wouldn't contain the cat pee odor as well as the name brand.... My fears were quickly banished.... these pads are GREAT! Every bit as absorbent as the original and no smell. They fit the box well (not quite as perfectly as the original, but nothing that causes any problems whatsoever), hold tons of pee (four cats live here with five litter boxes that get changed twice a week), no leaking out the sides, no smell. I see no reason to buy the originals anymore unless Peritas decides to get greedy as well.BOTTOM LINE: Fabulous, absolutely fabulous alternative to the original breeze pads at a significant cost savings. You wont go wrong with these

I’ve tried a few alternatives for the Breeze Litter Box pads, and this one stands out as the best! It fits perfectly in the Breeze Litter Box, so I don’t have to adjust or worry about gaps. It’s absorbent and holds a lot more than other brands I’ve tried. I get the carbon and it helps control the odors. The price is better than the name-brand version, which makes it a great value. I usually know it’s time to change the pad when it starts to smell, but with this one, I changed it before any odor appeared.I’ll definitely keep buying these and recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable alternative to Breeze pads!

They do the job. But because of the dark charcoal color, it is hard to tell where the pee stain is. I may order again, but will also continue looking.

While black litter pads are a bit startling, they work fine. Less expensive than name brand pads. Having 2 cats and one litter box, I change the pad every 3 days. No odor.

Cats and people are different, so take this with a grain of salt. Testing these pads, without taking price into account, against the brand name and generic these pads came out on top, but with a caveat or two. In terms of odor control the carbon works great up until the point where the pads are saturated. In terms of absorbancy these pads have performed the best of the three. We have four cats, one of whom is a19 years old male with, appropriately enough, the kidney function of a 19 year old cat. In other words what comes out of him is both copious and pretty rank. We need to change pads every two days for his preferred box. If not the pads will reach saturation point and are decidedly malodorous. However the pads do not seem to flood the tray; which is a huge plus. The tray still needs a cleaning, but that has been the case with any pad we've tried. The additional use of "Zero Odor" deodorizer has been a godsend in addressing odors. Factoring price into the picture and these are easily our preferred pads. Not really a fan of the scented pads, so the carbon is a nice neutral benefit. Again, the caveat is that the smell is neutral until it is not. I'd actually go so far as to say that they work too well on the odor front as we do not notice anything until the pad should have already been changed.

I've used the breeze system for my pandemic kitty since I brought her home in the first lockdown and every once in a while look for an alternative urine pad costing less per sheet, but once these "carbon activated whatevers" are done I'll go back to the original manufacturer's pads. These absorb fine, but there's very little odor control. Once you take the pad out and toss it in the trash you need to take the trash out of the apartment immediately. The original manufacturer pads absorb the odor much better. I put the urine pads in a bag and then that bag in the trash container, but these pads still reek odor through all of that.

If you have the breeze system these pads are amazing and work great. I don't do reviews alot but these deserve a great review

So I have two of the Breeze litter systems setup and used these pads for the first time in both.Disaster. In both the wee went straight through. Horrible mess to clean up. I just threw the rest away. Absolute garbage. If I could give zero stars I would.

These are a cheaper alternative to the pads for the Breeze system. Cheaper and just as effective.. Now if someone would invent a replacement pellet..
