I took a guess in ordering these as I couldn't order what I had originally. They fit perfectly and do a great job keeping the odors neutralized. I didn't rate their ease of cleaning as you don't clean them.

Evidently i ordered wrong size, but made them work, as I needed them immediately. Will measure more closely next order. They fit after cutting down and work well. No more smell from compost bin.

These filters works great in my compost crock. They filter out the smell and last about a week or more, depending on how full I let my bin get. I buy them often because of how much compost our house creates.

Did eliminate odors, but surface toward the food got moldy too quickly. Maybe you can wash it? but I would just be trading one unpleasant issue for another... Conflicting articles on whether washing ruins the charcoal or not...
