There is absolutely NOTHING I dislike about the Zensanit Activated Charcoal Odor Absorber! The cube itself is beautifully constructed with bamboo and presents with an intricate wildlife theme carved into the sides. The natural and minimalistic appearance of the odor neutralizer cube makes it a beautiful piece able to be displayed anywhere in the home. I love that it is a charcoal based odor neutralizer that does not “add†any artificial fragrance to the air. Being a high-allergy family, it is much appreciated that the cube simply neutralizes the odor rather than masks it. The neutralizer has the capability to last for months-depending of the size of the area used, so be sure to read the instructions as it provides the longevity comparable w/ room size. I have chosen to display this in our hallway near the cat litter box and it is doing a great job at neutralizing any odor the box may present. Once it’s exceeded its shelf-life, I plan on using it as a display piece, given how beautiful it is! Great purchase, great price, great product!

This is an attractive bamboo box, and it's much nicer to keep in the fridge than an orange box of baking soda. It would be godo sitting in a bedroom ro somewhere too. It seems to be fairly effective, and since putting it in my fridge, the odors seems to be much reduced. I love that it is contained and isn't going to spill if it gets jostled or tipped over. A great advantage of a plain cardboard box. This would be equally (more?) true, if it were in your teenage son's bedroom. ;)I'm not the world's most tree-huggy person, but I do hate useless plastic and packaging just being produced rampantly nowadays, indiscriminately. This is one of the things that I love about this. After I'm dine with it and it no longer works, in 1-3 years, I can feel OK about tossing it in the trash. It is made of bamboo and activated charcoal, so it's very biodegradable.

Normally my fridge is full to the brim and often has a funky smell or two, I'll be honest with ya. I just don't clean it out often enough for my busy family. Anyway I snagged this deodorizer and I forgot I had it in there. It's one of things that you forget about when it works but sure notice when it doesn't, like air conditioning or a car battery LOL. I haven't smelled any funk, so I'm happy. I also like the shape. You can easily stack stuff on top if you're short on room, and it's sturdy. I've seen open soda cans, takeout soup containers and even a small jug of milk on it and it's held up. The design is very pretty as well. This guy does its job and looks good doing it. A+

I came to know this Zensanit Activated Charcoal Odor Absorber, Natural Unscented Fridge Deodorizer only recently, and just in time! I am leaving my refrigerator empty and unattended for the next several months or more and need to keep the fridge in good condition, and that includes odorless. I was planning on using boxes of baking soda, as is usually what is recommended, but this charcoal fridge deodorizer is the perfect solution. The unit is small and compact yet heavy with the essential odor absorbing ingredients. The perfect solution to keep an unused fridge in good condition until it is called upon to perform for its next owners.

I have seen similar items before and was already looking forward to deciding where in my home to use it. I love the thought of a natural odor absorber/eliminator instead of masking it. The pamphlet had a majority of the necessary information but unlike the item page I saw no mention on how to RESTORE the charcoal. The design and material of the item are beautiful but made me concered about leaving it outside to recharge, if the weather changes to rainy it could damage the wood container. Also I could not figure out if this box was supposed to be able to be opened or not. It also sounds like after 1-3 years I would have to discard the whole box since it cannot be opened or the activated charcoal be replaced. Now for the results, I used it almost two weeks in my small bathroom and two weeks in my standard sized fridge with the occasional shake, like suggested on the item page, with no difference noted. The bathroom had a slight dirty sock smell that remained even after the odor absorber being there for two weeks. The fridge was newly cleaned and the absorber was placed in the middle and closer to the source of smell for better absorption. The smell of pecorino was not diminished even after several days. For me this item ended up being more for decoration than actual use.

While the box is certainly beautiful, I didn't notice it doing anything in regards to the way the area smelled. No better, no worse, I don't think it works honestly.

I originally got this to put in the fridge and when I opened it up it's too nice looking to hide. I especially love looking at the birds on it. I decided to place this in a small office that gets smoked in and I've tried about everything to get rid of the smell. After about 1 1/2 hours of this being in the office with the door opened I walked in to no smell. Amazing. I'm so impressed. It came nicely boxed with a user manual. Highly recommend and it would also make a nice gift.
