These pants are special for winter protection from snow and cold and we live in Florida yet were able to go to Tennessee this winter and used them for hiking at the cabin that we visited. They kept warm and were flexible. They do feel tall as they go up over the belly but that is how they are made and they ended up being the perfect lenght so as to not drag and catch on the ground and elements of nature.Althought we did not use these as snowboarding pants they worked extremely well as winter hiking pants and kept him warm.

First of all, super comfortable, and I love the material. My other pairs of snowboard pants feel scratchy by comparison. These are very soft.They're a bit on the thin side. Doesn't bother me as I usually wear thermals underneath, but I can see getting a bit cold on really frigid days on the mountain, or if one spends a lot of time sitting in the snow. But I also get hot in my thicker pants, so for all around use, I think they've split the difference pretty well. And for the warmest days, or when you need to sit and cool off, they they have zippered mesh vents on the inner thighs. I don't see that a lot.The gater is nice a feature. I mostly like that it can be tucked in, and only used when needed, perhaps in deep power.The zippers are high quality and waterproof. Two pockets on the sides, and one in back. Would be nice if there were pockets on the thighs.The "leg length adjustment drawstring" is a bit weird. I don't see the value in it. Perhaps shorter people would....?One thing they don't have is a hook on the bottom of the cuffs you can latch on to your snowboard boots strings to keep the pants from riding up. I don't know that it's needed as you can tuck the inner sleeve deep into you boots (about 12" of play), but it's something I'm used to with other pants.As to size, I'm 5'11" 165, and the mediums fit absolutely perfectly. I don't even need to tighten the belt.As to izing, the chart says 37.5 inches for a medium. I'm only 32-33", and I don't see how someone with even a 35" waist would fit into these. When I order, I matched up my length, and it happened to work out perfectly.All-in-all, decent quality, and I think most would be quite satisfied with these pants. I'm sure I'll use them a lot, mostly on warmer days.

These snowboard pants are comfortable and waterproof. They are thin, which made me concerned with warmth, but were good, especially while moving. There is some extra material which goes up higher around the waist. This is helpful to prevent snow coming up your back when sitting down. These are comparable in price with some brand name snowboard/ski gear, but much cheaper than other brand name gear. I'm glad I gave them a try. They are comfortable. We had a mild winter so we'll see how they do again next year.

I was really excited to try out these Pants, but unfortunately, the X-Large size was too small for me. Despite ordering my usual size, the pants were too tight and uncomfortable to wear for an extended period of time. I was disappointed because the pants looked like they would provide great protection from the elements and had all the features I was looking for in a pair of snowboarding pants. However, the sizing issue made it impossible for me to fully enjoy the product. I would advise others to order a size up if they are considering purchasing these pants.

We haven't had snow this season, but my husband wears these to do farm chores when it's exceptionally wet and muddy! They fit well and are truly water proof

I got these ski pants for my husband. He tells me they are thin enough to be flexible and don't restrict movement. The material is soft enough to wear without thermals underneath, but room for the extra layer for added warmth. Exactly as advertised.

I'm about 5' 9" and 140ish lbs and ordered the medium. These are a great length for me, which is always an issue when looking for pants. Extremely warm and very soft inside. I love the extra material high around the waist to help protect against snow getting in. It's very stretchy and forgiving. There are also side straps to help pull them tighter near the hips. Overall, mine are a little looser on me than they need to be, but I love them. I love the feel, the fit, and the warmth.
