Doing it myself

My daily exercise routines always have me looking at my watch for the temperature during the workout and I almost always say (to my watch) "in a pigs eye"!Pretty good for the price I paidAccuracy? It differs at home by about 2-degrees from my Eco-bee, the later of winch is rarely accurate imho. The digital display is easy to read on the goWhat I love the most is the daily High and Low Temperature reading. We have our own little micro climate here where the temperature can change depending on the side of the street you are on or the slightest change in elevation. Its really nice to know what the high and the low is and current temperature at a glance.I paid for what I called a novelty clip on thermometer, you know the tube with the red liquid inside.I liked it because I kinda always wanted but never really needed one. Same price as this one. This device is much more useful So 5-stars!

The hiking thermometer was temporarily lost, due to a Sunday delivery gone awry. I took the tracking number to the central post office and the package arrive this afternoon. The thermometer is so good, clear to read and accurate, I purchased another to go on my second hiking staff.Thank you to the post office desk clerk who went above and beyond to find the package.

It's a nice concept, but the build quality is terrible. The thermometer itself appears to have been designed for some other purpose, with the clear plastic case being an afterthought. In order to allow the battery to be changed, the battery compartment hangs out of the actual thermometer and clips into the clear case. Not only will this allow water and dirt into the battery compartment, but the battery is also making bad contact with the circuit board. If you tap on it, it turns off, gives weird readings, says the battery is low when it's not. Just a total piece of garbage.

When the sun hit it directly, it reads really hot, but if it’s in the shade it reads cold. It therefore isn’t REALLY measuring the ambient temperature. Rather, it measuring the temperature in its immediate surroundings. Not very useful. But, you know, it approximates the temp, so I guess that’s good for 3 stars

If you plan XC skiing or back country snow maybe look for one that measures a bit colder. The readout is nice and product is lightweight, which I really like. I like too that it keeps the min and max for the past 24 hours. I just wish it went a little colder as last weekend started out at 1°C at the parking lot, but warmed up a good 15°C before we got back. I might go out when even colder, but maybe -4°C should be a hard limit! It is a little bigger than I expected too, but I do like the display size.

4.5 stars. Hung up in house. It still works as it fell on tile and casing cracked, battery flew out. Put thermometer back together, rehung and it works. So impressed with working, unimpressed with casing as now it is less protected from elements with cracked casing. So 4 stars for unsturdiness, 5 stars for working. So 4.5 stars, really. I would buy again. The device is small, portable, lightweight. Does it's job. So I recommend.

I have had one of these for years and it's always held up quite well the battery finally went out on it so I got new batteries for it so I needed some more so I decided to order some for a friend he loves them they're going to hold up well the functionality of them is good the readability is really nice it's a good built quality I use them in an incubator

Out little camping group of three like to go on the coldest nights of the year, Often in spots with little to no phone reception. With this, we can keep track of the lows without sitting and watching the thermometer at that exact moment. The carabiner, can you ever have too many? Solid buy.
