I have looked at a lot of decade boxes and this is the best one I saw so far. This is very easy to use with the switches to select resistance. To add more resistance, select another switch with the corresponding resistance.It works based on Ohms law. As you select more switches it adds to the total resistance. Switches have a white or silver paint on them to show if they are turned on. When off they are black. This helps in lower light conditions.Having resistors below 1 is good for building power supplies which is exactly why I wanted this. I am working on precision battery chargers which require resistors in the 0.1 Ohm ranges.There is another good use for this decade box - testing multimeters. I am finding a lot of variance between my meters which would throw off my circuits badly.It comes with leads which is a bonus. And two sets of outputs. One on the front and one on top which makes it more versatile. And there is a stand on the back to help stand it up on your bench.

The Values are spot on and have a very good tolerance. One thing to note is that the plastic feels cheap and it doesn't seem worth the price, but it works very well. I highly recommend this product.
