This is a passive buzzer that works well with an Arduino but will produce sound only when it is fed an ac signal such as a square wave generated by the Arduino. If fed with dc, it will only click. Even when driven properly, the sound output is low, and useful for indication of an expected event in a quiet room but not for an alert that needs to be heard some distance away. Use an active buzzer if a loud signal is needed. However, the low sound output can be boosted by the software application or by an external driver circuit that can deliver a higher voltage than the 5 volts from an Arduino digital output. I haven't completed the project I bought it for so when I do I'll be back to update my rating

Wire's will fall a part easily, it was very quiet even on max voltage through my arduino

The piezos are fine. The wire they attach to the piezo is garbage. This is typical for Adafruit devices where the wire they use is very small gauge and the soldering joint breaks. I normally have to solder better wire onto the product. Since the piezo sensor is enclosed, you can't replace the wire unless you break open the plastic, rendering the enclosure useless. I would have paid more for the sensor just to have a better set of wires. I bought 10 and there are three left.

Leider ist dieses piezo Element entweder defekt oder einfach nur unhörbar leise(5v). Auf der Öffnung aus der Schall austreten sollte befindet sich eine Art kleber.Leider unbrauchbar
