Overall I’m quite happy with this clay mitt. It works nicely for times when you don’t need to break out the actual clay bar for hardcore stuff. Seems to be made pretty well, is comfortable, and saves time vs clay bar. My main problem is that it’s essentially identical to a non-Adam’s clay mitt I purchased from Amazon previously for half the price (mitt only). Side by side, the materials, performance, and design are all exactly the same with the only exception being a slightly deeper red color on the Adam’s vs the cheap version, so I’ve removed one star for being a bit overpriced.

I have never used clay before on one of my cars. I had some black paint overspray that needed to be removed from my brand new red Mustang (nothing too obvious, just dulled the paint and made the surface feel rough).After watching a ton of videos and reading a bunch of reviews I decided to go with the Adam's mitt as I have used some of their other stuff in the past and it's all worked well. Since the kit comes with lube it was nice to have a one and done solution. It only took about an hour and everything was slick and shiny again. No paint, no residue, and the spray lube even smells kind of good. To top it off I now have a clay mitt that is supposed to last 100 +/- uses which means I will never have to buy one ever again.As a beginner, this is about as easy as it gets. Buy with confidence.

I used this once and still had to use a regular clay bar in addition to this because it didn’t get everything. It does save time due to the area of coverage but it doesn’t get everything.

At first I gave this product 1 star. I wasn’t impressed. After I used it 3 times I see that it really works and it works great. My first time using it I used it on a vehicles that had very clean paint so I thought it wasn’t removing anything.The. I used it on a couple vehicles that had heavy iron contamination and this product worked very well. Pull a lot of contaminants out and since it’s a large mit you can clay a large pick up truck very fast.That being said this product will not replace a high quality clay bar. A high quality clay bar can remove stuff from paint that is very stuck in.This clay mitt does a great job and highly recommend it. Some contaminants can only be removed with a clay bar. This product is ment for high speed use. If you have some stubborn pain or rust then use the clay bar. If you do a lot of paint corrections this product is a must have.
