Purchased this mountable locking box for our church to be able to accept donations and it works perfectly. There is a spot for envelopes/pens behind the drop slot. There isn't as much room as I hoped for but I opted for a slimmer model due to the location it was being placed. Highly recommended for the price.

This lock box was perfect for my intended purpose. However, if you are looking for something very sturdy that would prevent someone from breaking into it, I would go with something else. I am not saying it isn't a sturdy box, as it is constructed very well. It just has a simple lock and the opening at the top could be bent to get items out of it if someone wanted to do so.

TRUE REVIEW: Uncompensated and actual user.At $19.99, this is good buy. 5-stars if the price dips under $17. The product is good and priced reasonably. Some complained that you could "hook" the contents after it has been dropped in the container. Well, this was never intended to keep unscrupulous people out; nor was it meant to. This is just for simple collection. The lock is just for convenience so things don't accidentally drop out. The metal is sturdy and strong enough. It's nice that it came with hardware to hang on the wall.BOTTOM LINE: If this is the type you need, get it.

I bought this for daycare payment box. I absolutely love it. It's the perfect size for what I need. It has a great safety feature that prevents anyone from sticking their hands in to retrieve anything from inside.I love the bright colored finish. I think it's powder-coated paint? seems extremely durable-whatever it is.

Great product and easy to hang up. Glad I was able to screw to the wall from inside the unit making it more secure. My only concern is the lock gets in the way of depositing envelopes and documents. The compartment in the back is a convenient featur, as well
