The grade Rod works great, seems to be sturdy. It’s a little heavy, build muscle! Be sure to separate Rod sections and clean the inside of each Rod section of dirt and sand often. If you don’t the sections get stuck and you won’t be able to extend or close the Rod, you’ll be very bummed out! This happens with all these types of rods. Keep it clean and you’ll get more than your moneys worth out of it!

This is fiberglass, so if you're going to be navigating tough terrain or need to have the rod extended to full height for a long period of time, be careful that you don't spilt the seams and cause the buttons to slip. For light/everyday use, this is very functional. Easy to read and extend/retract.

I bought this for my husband. He works heavy construction and while they mainly rely on GPS he still occasionally uses his grade rod and hand level for smaller things. He was impressed with the quality of this product, as he prefers fiberglass to the aluminum counterparts, and was even more impressed because it was affordable. Definitely recommend

I use this grade rod for grading and excavating work in Jackson Hole Wyoming. I received the rod 4 days after ordering it. It was well packaged to avoid damage. Put it to work the next day. It is a great quality grade rod and comes with a quality cover. Will definitely buy from tiger suppies again.
