These connectors are a lifesaver! I had 42 balusters to replace and initially I was going to use the tap and twist connectors, which would have required me to drill 42, 3/4 holes, but when I tried removing the first wooden baluster, I discovered that the initial installer had screwed the baluster from underneath the baserail, which would have required me to disassemble the whole staircase - that would have been a none starter for me.Fortunately, I came across these baluster connectors. After removing the wooden balusters, I just cut the protruding screw off at the baserail and placed these connectors over the existing screw. This worked perfectly for all 42 balusters.

What a time saver. I was just looking for baluster shoes when these came up as part of the search results. When I saw what they were, I knew they’d save me a TON of time. I’m glad to say I was not disappointed. These things made the job of replacing my balusters so much easier. And worked as advertised! So thankful I found them!!
