I like this drawing desk for the multi purpose it can be used for. Tilt it and you can draw (which the angle comes up really great). Have it flat and it becomes a regular desk for your daily tasks.I personally added a few things on it to expand it.As for the spaces(side pockets), if you plan to use it to store long object like pens, markers of paint brushes, it's not deep enough to keep them in when you tilt it, but it's easily fixed with a simple extention. It's pretty much sturdy and you have the option to use roller or fixed feet. You can also clamp your lights on the table frame. I think it's a great buy for the price.The assembly is pretty much straight forward with the instruction, except for the object stopper(retainer/guard) which I had to rig a little bit the holes on it, so it would align with the ones under the desk.

desk looks incredible and is great to use however it does have a few caveats!the biggest one is the instructions had the left and right legs mislabeled compared to what came in the box for our set and the manufacturing tolerances on the bottom of the glass panel to screw into the body were WAY! off and it didn't even have one of the 6 holes drilled through the metal like it should've so the top left corner isn't actually attached sadly, other than that the only complaint I have is I wish the mechanism for adjusting the angle of the table was a bit less finicky when trying to close it or readjust it you have to fling it the entire way up to reset it and then go up bit by bit until you get the angle you want it at.other than those minor gripes it's been great and we love it! girlfriend uses it with leds attached underneath the glass to light up her paper for tracing when drawing or for making it easier to see color codings for her diamond paintings, and I use it as an easel when drawing and the price honestly couldn't be beat for our use case (about 85$ normally but we got for free due to the amazon visa promotion currently going on.

Had a small problem and so I contacted the company. They were very helpful. They have solved my problem. The desk is just as advertised. It’s very comfortable and easy to use. I love it. It is built very well. My husband has one just like it but an older model. His had issues with the side pieces breaking, but on mine the company has upgraded the side pieces which is wonderful. It’s a great value for the money!
