I bought these to hold my craft glasses on. The rubber part that goes on the arms of the glasses have a whole that is too small. So, I used a knife and sliced it so that it would fit. Now, they are working very well

I think this works well for what it is. The part over the ear does not bother you. One downside is it does raise my glasses a little bit so they're not perfectly on my nose. Especially if you pull it taut. So that kind of looks a bit funny if I don't push them down just right.As someone with long hair, I don't really like the look of it because you can see the strap behind your head. I tried pulling my long hair over it but it left a bulge. It would work if you kept the strap loose though but the purpose of me getting it was for glasses that fell down my nose a lot and having it loose doesn't solve that problem.I feel like the glasses clips that are rubberized and kind of cradle behind your ear work a bit better for long hair. Although those were a bit annoying as well Because I had to kind of twist them around to put them behind my ear each time. I thought maybe I would like these better.I feel like for something like rock climbing they might be more useful where it's necessary that you keep your glasses from falling and you're going to be at different angles. It definitely feels more secure than those little clips that go behind the ear only.But overall, they didn't really work for my purposes and weren't super practical. I also didn't like how when I'm loosening the straps I'm worried that my hair is going to get stuck. I feel like these just work better with short hair.
