My car has a knock off Lakewood aftermarket bell housing from its previous racing days. I replaced the clutch but having trouble shifting into gears at times because the clutch was not fully disengaging. I adjusted everything I could, but could not get enough movement on the clutch fork. I even extended my clutch linkage to no avail. After googling I found out about these things, which I had no idea existed. I put this on which gave my clutch fork more room to pivot, giving me more throw and fully disengaging the clutch. My problem is now solved!fyi - My application was SBC (327) w/ Muncie 4 speed trans
