I ordered 2 types of hand shower holders for myself and my wife in case this simpler Pigiaoka was not up to snuff. When we got it I was surprised it wasn't plastic but very heavy metal AND a strong spring to attach it to our shower chair. I rate it 8 stars because it exceeded my expectations on every level.

My shower head is bigger than the typical one so it doesn’t fit in most of the holders but luckily it is able to rest nicely in this one! It works great for what I need!

This looks like cheap metallic plastic though it might just be a light metal. I do love the rubber inside ring which prevents slipping. The rubber interior ring is what drove me to purchase this clamp. Hubby has had to hold his shower nozzle, turn off, and hang it on the handle while soaping up on his bench. Now, he can leave it running and not have to reheat water every time he turns it back on or sit in the cold. It barely fit our large pole and I had to coax it on ever so gently with max opening while gently forcing it, making for a very tight fit.So, after first use, it's a 4. If the metal was a brushed nickel, or more real looking metallic vs what seems to be a cheap plating, I would have given it a 5. Time will tell if it remains a 4. It's a "his only" shower so he can leave it in one position permanently. It might not hold up if moved often with such a tight fit as the piece feels extremely light weight and not firm like other metal piece things but works for him now.If looks are not important, at this time I would recommend this product. Do measure your pipe before hand if you know how. I didn't know how to figure it out and got lucky by holding up a tape measure and tried hard to eye ball the width as accurately as possible. I wish the company would include the circumference of a pipe for those of us who don't remember the formula for figuring the diameter of a circumference. It's not fair to the company to pay for wrong size returns but that's why Amazon Prime costs so much; it's to cover free returns of inept people, unskilled, or unknowledgeable people. Sadly, I have fallen into all those categories at one time or another too many times.
