It works well enough for light duty lab use. The materials don't seem like they would be corrosion resistant though and probably not very solid. But it does reliably clamp beakers in place of many sizes. And it does not rattle or move. The chain is fine, the screw and spring for locking in place feels a bit cheap though. Overall fine to use just take care when using with any chemical environment.
