My wife absolutely loves it in the kitchen to set timers, look up recipes, play music, etc.. purchasing it with the stand was a great choice since it is on our kitchen counter top. Keeps it out of harms way from any spills.

We have this in the living room connected to all the echos in each bedroom. It’s a great tool to be able to set reminders for chores or reminders for music lessons/ sports practice. The kids also enjoy being able to play music and listen to audio books while in their rooms.

It was a little glitchy at first but I think it’s working a little better now I love the fact that I can make calls on it and watch my favorite shows on it listen to music weather updates I got it on sale and have been wanting to get one for our home I think it was glitching because it was still trying to connect to my account and then figured out I had the kids screen on it so it would play my music and then shut off so I had to take the parental controls off on the app I love that it displays our family pictures on it as well

I bought this stand for our Echo Show in the kitchen to protect it from any spillage, but I think I will buy another one for the one in our bedroom to raise it a bit more from the bedside table and be able to rotate the screen as needed. The magnet keeps it in position and the base feels sturdy enough to keep one position.

I love the larger display on the Echo Show 8. I purchased it on Prime Day. Good price and we received it pretty fast.
