I got the 6 in drop so I had one but it was not enough of a drop. Besides that it is a hefty hitch. I don't recall any others meeting its towing capabilities. Most cap out at 10k-12k with the 2 in ball. I ended up getting a 10in drop of the same one and couldn't be happier.

Great product, works well, and very strong. All three ball sizes and the adjustable drop height is a huge hit with our shop guys who tow several different trailers. Welds are very neatly done with no inclusions like most recent Chinese, robotically-welded products. 2.5†Receiver version worked with just the single metal spacer on our factory installed 2024 Ford F-350 receiver. It tightened up easily with the T Handle & set screw provided and does not rattle IN THE RECEIVER. The provided locking receiver pin is a nice addition but to get 5 stars the adjustable ball section needs to be a tighter fit with the hitch as IT DOES RATTLE with no trailer attached. Lastly, a second locking style pin that prevents the ball section from being removed while parked would be a nice addition and make this a perfect hitch for constant, everyday use.

Too many of these hitches require special tools and calibration to adjust. This makes adjusting easy for the average towing. I love this, and if it ever fails or rusts for some small reason, I’d replace it immediately with the same product. What a great find!

The hitch does hitch things as you’d expect. What I was so impressed with is it took the typical noise from a hitch insert and eliminated it with and without a trailer connected, seriously it is silent even on the most uneven roads.

The drop hitch itself rattles constantly. Was returned because of this.
