Excellent up and down adjustment for desired height. Works great with my adjustable standing desk. Seat is hard plastic with a thin rubber covering, meant more for non-slip than cushion. Will be figuring out a cushion of some sort, as it is a hard surface for any length of time. Overall very pleased

First, this stool is AMAZING. I am an active, kinesthetic type who likes to move and fidget while I work. This solves that problem AND my tendency to slouch. Although it IS possible to strike a bad pose in this chair and hold it long-term, you'd really have to fight nature to do so.It has helped me regain some movement in my otherwise stiff lower back and hips. I live a sedentary lifestyle, so this helps keep me more active throughout the day, plus it's fun to sit in, spin in, and to get on and off (you can totally do the Riker sit... makes you feel like a boss).As another reviewer recommended on an alternate manufacturer's review page, the stool IS hard to sit on after a while, but there is a cheap 13" stool cushion that fits for $15.99 as of this writing. Love everything about it other than my middle aged posterior needs a bit of padding to make it comfortable for long sits. I cut a circle of blue Coleman camp mat to fit, that makes it better.

I purchased this product as my daughter has ants in her pants for online school. The product came quickly and is already assembled. The quality is fantastic!

Went for this stool because of the price and the fact that it can adjust to quite a tall height. Also needed it for a narrow space. The seat is a bit uncomfortable though and I had to order a stool cushion. Other than that, it seems very durable, especially since my son likes spinning on it.
