I've ordered these before and they work exactly as show PLUS you get extra parts should you make a mistake in placement! I've already made an additional purchase for my friends at work and some co-workers have complimented me on my organized locker. I highly recommend!The grooves do cause problems for smaller items but a simple flat piece of wood makes the shelf perfect and the wood extends it out an inch more! BONUS!

I found this very difficult to lign the tabs up with the slot given on the shelf. When that was lined up, then it was a challenge to get the shelf level. I used it only for additional cupboard space I needed a place to put four plastic plates and four plastic bowls. Once I was successful of getting the shelf where I needed it I put my plates and bowls on the shelf and it didn’t hold. Can’t hold that little bit away. I’m not sure how this would hold books in a locker, also the painting to make it look woodgrain looks cheap. I would’ve hated it except it was going to be inside a cupboard. Nobody see it anyway.

Purchased these shelves to add storage in the camper closets. They fall down when very lightweight items are placed on them.

If you do this make sure you align all of the sides first before applying them otherwise you're going to be ripping off the stuff

Adjusting the star rating down, as now it's time for her to empty her locker and take these out. She texted me asking how to remove them, I told her they should just come off like a command strip, pull in the direction of the arrows. She said she tried that and they ripped, and now she's not sure how to get the hangers out. So you may not be able to count on reusing these at all.Original:I got these for my daughters locker at school. They work ok, nifty idea of using big rubber bands for the resistance. However, a couple of concerns- the rubber 'stops' on the sides that helps to hold the shelf in place by force, are not very thick. It would be nicer if they were wider or thicker. For perfectly straight walls they might be ok, however since I got these for a locker that is I'm not sure how many years old, have had random items of books or people thrown in over the years, the walls are not straight. The hooks/braces with the command strip type tape help there to keep it up, and it works, but I think it could be better for the money. There's enough tape pieces to hang up the shelves twice, then you're out of luck or need to find your own supplies. However my daughter hasn't complained about them, and was able to hang it up on her own. These are probably more a 3.5 star item, but giving a benefit of a doubt for now and going 4 stars, assuming it stays up as expected for the rest of the year here.
