Tried coconut fiber, jute from the UK, carpet padding... grrrr. These can be be size adjusted, resized 14" to 16" basket, and 14" to 12" with a steak knife. Not to thick or too thin, good quality. Best we have found for the price. The dark color is complimentary to the plants.

I originally bought the 14" for my hanging pots of the same size and they did not fit so I gave them 2 stars. I reordered and moved up a size to the 16" and they work great. I would buy a size larger. They look very nice and the material is heavy. Hopefully it fixes my bird problem as they love to pull the coco shell ones apart.

Each year birds kept taking pieces of my coir basket liners to build their nests. Needless to say, it’s a pain to replace them over and over again. These material liners are thick and sewn together. They are sturdy and fit my 3 sizes of baskets. All you need to do is trim them a little, if needed. They look amazing, and it was so easy to do!

I expect these will hold up better than the typical hanging basket liner, but only time will tell. However, they advertise as if they will stop so much water loss, and that doesn't appear to be true at all. Water flows right on through just as quickly as with other materials. Yes, you don't want your plants getting water logged, so some drainage is needed. However, it would be nice if this slowed it down at all, which it does not seem to do.

I will never use coco liners again after discovering these liners. My plants are so much happier and thriving because they retain the water, and it does not go through like with the cocoa liners. They also look very nice!

I purchased only one to trial, but I will be ordering several more. I can't say for certain how long they will last, but I expect several years. It appears to be very durable and fits the hanging baskets nicely. The soil seems to retain moisture better in this liner than it does with the coir fibre liners. Also it will not be destroyed by the birds who collected the coir fibre for their nests.
