This neck pillow is softer than some, but still provides good support. The cover fabric is super soft and the deep blue color is great. The zipper is 7+ inches in length, which would be a good size to remove the insert, but the insert is not confined in a case. It's a microfiber filling that is really soft (apparently made from recycled plastic bottles). Once you unzip the exterior cover, it's nearly impossible to get all the stuffing back inside, plus the zipper catches on the fibrous material, so the stuffing gets caught in the zipper closure. The cover is supposed to be removable for washing, but I'm not sure how the pillow could be put back together. Maybe other buyers have tried and been successful. I suggest the manufacturer stitch into place a fabric "guard" that can be folded over the filling to help with zipper function.The neck opening is 3 3/8" wide by 5 1/4"in length. It's a smidge big, but okay for me (120lb female), but could be too small for a hefty man.The comfort level is really up to the individual purchaser. I'm keeping this, but will only spot clean.

I bought two. The pillows they were replacing had a thin, stretchy fabric (which I like) with those micro beads which over time compressed leaving the pillow about half full of filler and no easy access to refill. I wasn't sure I'd like this type of filler or the fabric, but it was the only one with the color I wanted. The fabric is a soft fleece which I do like. As for the stuffing, mine came stuffed really full and hard, kinda like a rock. (I use them to support my arm/hand while sleeping on my side and on top of my regular pillow to support my neck while reading in bed.) They have a convenient zipper so I easily removed about half the stuffing and rearranged it inside the pillow until I found the perfect consistency throughout - like the Goldilocks and the baby bear, not too soft or too hard! I doubt this stuffing will compress like the beads, but I'm keeping the extra which I can use to fill other pillows in the future. Very pleased with them!

I got this because I was looking for a small pillow for neck support, and all the reviews said "soft".Turns out the "soft" was referring to the fleece like texture, the pillow is so firmly packed it was too hard for my needs.HOWEVER...There is a zipper in the pillow, and it was very easy to pull out a lot of the very soft filling, and once I did this, it was as soft as a beanie toy, which was what I was looking for.I would definitely buy again.

Couple of things: I WANT to love this pillow. It's well made and nice and firm with a soft minky outer cover and a snap to prevent the pillow from coming off.Now here's the not-so-great:If you're a large adult male, this pillow is probably perfect. Unfortunatley, I'm a 5' 4" (1m60) woman and the pillow is a bit too big for my head /neck to rest comfortably.The inside of the pillow, while supportive and firm, is not encased in a second layer of muslin. This makes opening the pillow to remove the stuffing and wash the outer casing unrealistic. The stuffing is made of a ton of individual (I'm assuming) Poly fibers and it makes a big stinking mess. The possibility of getting it all back in and maintaining the same level of support is highly unlikely, though I haven't tried because I'm too afraid of the potential mess.Additionally, while it's soft minky fabric, if you've got curly hair, it's not great for keeping curls intact. I have fine wavy hair and the little hairs of softness grab my curls and separate, making a frizzy mess.I'm going to keep it because my boys love it, but just know that it won't last very long if you're a sweaty sleeper before becoming gross on the outside.

I DIDNT USE MINE FOR TRAVEL! I had a hard time finding reviews for just average bed use and not sleeping while sitting - like for flights. Hoping this disclaimer can help someone looking for reasons similar to mine. :)So I normally HATE neck pillows. I’m one of those people who have to have pretty minimal neck/head support when I sleep. I like for my head to be pretty even with (or slightly lower than) the rest of my body. Neck pillows tend to be too firm or too thick, raising my head too high and I wake up with headaches.This one was great because even with all of the stuffing it was fine, but I could unzip it and take some out to make it better. I could also add it back, which is also very helpful.I had top surgery (double mastectomy) in June, so I was restricted to sleeping on my back. I had gotten a large wedge pillow as well to provide some elevation and was nervous about my neck/head support. This was a pretty good pair. It provided support, and I could control how much by changing the amount of stuffing, like I stated earlier.I also use it now, close to 3 months out. I do not have sleeping restrictions anymore but still find it so useful. I’m a big fan. 10/10, recommend.

I originally bought this as a neck pillow for travel, but have found it extremely comfortable as a sleep pillow for cervical spine issues as well. It's officially replaced my special cervical spine pillow, although I don't wear it around my neck in that case, but lay it upside down.I also discovered it's a great cushion for active sitting position in my office chair. I've bought several so-called 'active sitting' cushions that were either ineffective, uncomfortable, or unbreathable. This beats them all.I do agree with others though, it would be helpful to have a removable washable cover with replacements available for purchase. But for the price and functionality, it's one of my favorite purchases.

Das Nackenkissen aus Mikrofaser ist sehr gut verarbeitet.Meine Frau ist begeistert über die weiche Füllung, die man durch den eingebauten Reissverschlußselber dosieren kann. Es ist ein riesen Unterschied zu Hartschaumfüllung mit Memori Efekt.Wehre vielleicht schön wenn es noch andere Farben geben würde.
