Bought this to replace the old oiled k&n rf1041 filter on my 2004 Silverado. Fits good, and diameter is a perfect match. There is a lip on the inside of this filter that lets it only go on so far that the k&n didn’t have (prob a design upgrade), but it seals tight, it’s a little longer which is nice, and no oil!

I've owned several of these between different vehicles. Always great quality and have never had a single issue with any of them despite their age. Very easy to clean and maintain!

Would be a nice filter if it was packed better. I just received my second one from Amazon after the first one was replaced because of damage and the second one is even worse. The filter is just thrown in a big box by the manufacturer with no packing material and the clamp is just slipped around the filter. With both of the ones I received the clamp damaged the mesh on the outside of the filter. Both filters had the ends dented pretty good from sliding around inside the box. I think this one is going back and I'll be looking for another brand. It's a shame because it's a perfect filter for my application. See my pics for the damage.

Really like the air flow, switched from Volant to aem filter, one no oil required, easy to clean and my ram truck response to the increased air is noticeable.
