I'm not a small guy (over 6'4 feet and nearly 250 lbs) and I feel like a kid riding this thing. Rides & glides very smooth and has a slight suspension which makes for a smooth ride over sidewalks and slightly uneven terrain. Built solid. Disc brake works pretty well. Folds down and unfolds positively and easily. I'm really happy with it, and can ride around with my kid, or even run quick errands in my neighborhood. The first person I showed it to thought it was an electric scooter. If I had two bits of feedback:1. the footbed is slightly too short, my shoes are size US 14+ and I find it hard to get both feet comfortably on the platform, they really feel jammed on there. If it was a little longer it would be much more comfortable having both feet on there.2. Ride height: you can't go over a 1" concrete bump without the bottom shock absorber (which lives underneath the footbed) getting caught on it. I wish the wheels were a little taller or the ride height a little taller so that you could clear those kinds of bumps more easily. (granted you have to be careful going over a 1" bump, gotta pop up and lean back, and go at sufficient speed anyway, otherwise you can get thrown).

I got this scooter for my 10-year-old son. He got it and installed by himself very quickly and enjoy the ride within a few minutes. The straightforward instructions made it easy to put together. My son likes this scooter because of its ability to glide effortlessly and quietly across concrete surfaces. The large wheels absorb bumps and cracks with ease, providing a smooth and stable ride that my son thoroughly enjoys.Folding up the scooter makes it easy to put in the back of the car or hold it to go up and down the stairs. The efficient hand brakes offer responsive stopping power, so bring a peace of mind knowing my kid can brake safely whenever needed, especial to a kid who does not like wearing the helmet. The Rock-solid kickstand is strong, no wobbling or tipping over, hopefully my son will get used to using it a lot because I can't stand all the scooters dropped on the grass. The sleek and appealing design has won over my son's heart. From the color to the ergonomic handlebars, every aspect of the scooter is thoughtfully crafted to appeal to young riders.Bottom line: The Aero Big Wheel Kick Scooter for Kids gets a big thumbs up from both me and my son. It's been a hit since day one, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. If you're in the market for a solid scooter that'll keep your kid rolling in style, this is the one to get.

Edit after interaction with their support team:First, thanks Amazon, I got a free replacement. But it had all the same problems. But then, with help from the vendor support , I was able to work through understanding my issues.Long story short, besides the inaccurate setup docs, none of my original issues are actually problems using the scooter. The “play†in steering doesn’t present itself during actual use. The resistance to steering goes away after a little use, they just have the head tube torced pretty tight. And the rubbing with the disc brake goes away after a little use. I’m sure I could adjust it away completely, but not a big dealI think they suffer from some “first impression†issue they need to work on, but this is actually a quality piece of scouter engineering.First impressions were not great. The instructions for assembly don't match the state of the scooter when it is shipped. Instructions show handlebar attached and it's not. And there is no info on how to do that. But at least that you can figure out with some googling.Of more importance were three defects, two in assembly and one is design. The front steering is very stiff and not at all smooth. At first I could barely rotate it by hand. It kind of "grinds" as if the bearings aren't smooth or perhaps the steerer tube is tightened too much. The other is there is significant left/right "play" in the front steering, apparently introduced by the front suspension assembly. I see a good 1/4 inch of play each direction holding the handbags still. I haven't tried riding at any speed with this, but it seems that could introduce dangerous wobble at speed. Finally, out of the box, the rear disc brake rubs against the break pads, significantly increasing rolling resistance. It didn't look warped, but something is causing contact at some parts of the rotation. I might be able to make adjustments for that, but that ought to be done at the factory, before shipping. This is not like wholesale bicycle that will go through setup at the retail store before use.And the bad news, all this was not a one off. I immediately ordered a replacement which arrived quickly (thanks Amazon) and had exactly the problems, in fact worse with the brake rubbing. I didn't even finished unboxing that one, since it was worse than the original. Now I have to decide to put up with it or return it and go through the research all over again for a higher quality adult scooter. What a waste of time.

Meramente desplazamiento.

When I bought this scooter, I just wanted something simple that could fold up in the trunk of my car, which could be useful for going between buildings at my workplace. I only needed something simple that would last until I can get a reliable bike. And I chose the Aero 230 because it was the only inexpensive [non-electric] scooter I could find on Amazon with a carrying capacity above 220 lbs. (I'm just barely heavier than that, and I often carry a heavy backpack.) So, I just hoped this scooter would do the bare minimum for what I needed. It has already impressed me by being better than I anticipated:- The scooter can be adjusted between child/teen size and adult size. I found it transitions well between both sizes, and remains stable once you lock the clamp on the steering column.- The suspension not only makes the ride more comfortable, but also safer. (It absorbs the shock of rolling over uneven concrete or speed bumps, so instead of lurching and falling off, you can ride right over some obstacles. The suspension even makes it easier to jump up curbs, if you feel like trying it.)- The hand brake and foot brake both do their job well, even going down a fairly steep-grade hill.- The manufacturer's instructions recommend riding on concrete and asphalt, but from my experience so far, the wheels can actually function marginally well on gravel roads, too.- The mechanisms used for folding the scooter — both the button and the kick plate — work wonderfully, making it quick and easy to fold and unfold.- The kickstand... is a kickstand. I wish I could say something especially cool about it. But it's good at what it does.- Also worth mentioning, this scooter was delivered to me several days sooner than expected, which was a nice bonus.I only have two tiny nitpicks about this scooter:- When you first assemble the scooter, you need to insert the handlebars into the steering column, and there is no visual guide to make sure you are lining up the handlebars with the front wheel. It's not a huge deal, but you may need to play around with the handlebars a little bit to get them just right.- The grips on the handlebars can be folded down to help make the scooter easier to store, which is nice; the only thing is, the locking pins are these long plastic knobs that say "PRESS" on them. (*If the seller's page is still the same, then the only place you can see a picture of these plastic knobs is one of the pictures of the A180 scooter, where the handlebar grips and the rest of the scooter are folded.)The knobs seem strong enough, but if either of those plastic pieces someday breaks, I'm not sure what can be done to fix or replace it.I don't think those small issues are really worth worrying about, though. I'm just going to enjoy using this scooter, and recommend this one to anyone looking for a good scooter at a decent price.
