The way I used this container is to hold hot water made with gas stove hot pot. This 20oz container is easy to pour with good control to the coffee ground inside the Aeropress coffee maker or regular pour over style filter system. I don’t have a gooseneck style hot water pot so this is a work around for what I have…It is a nice sturdy container to receive the finish coffee brew pushed through using the Aeropress coffee maker. It also worked well with the reusable ceramic coffee filter as well ..It is pricey container and one can always find a substitute cup or vessel around the kitchen cabinets. But if you want a genuine Aeropress accessory made in USA, you will love it. It is also a nice storage to hold the bottom part of the Aeropress coffee maker along with the stirrer.Easy to clean and good looking container. Using a paper towel to wipe down after cleaning will keep it new :-)I bought this container in a bundle deal along with a clear Aeropress coffee maker for a total of $70 which is a good saving of $5 for the container :-)

Looks and performs okay. Has a rather wide mouth compared to the size of the aero press so it is a little clunky to use for pressing coffee into the carafe.

This carafe is legit! This is exactly the item I needed to complete my Aeropress, for both home and travel.The carafe is made from a shatterproof acrylic. It isn't glass, which I did not want in this instance. The package states its capacity is about 20 oz. It will probably hold 8 full servings or two complete plunges from the Aeropress. It is made with the exact dimensions to rest underneath your Aeropress. It doesn't matter the orientation of the Aeropress; it will not fall inside the carafe. The acrylic is strong enough to hold the Aeropress while the plunger is pressed.It is also great for travel purposes, and the Aeropress rests nicely inside the carafe *IF* you invert the plunger and insert it from the bottom. It fits in my Aeropress travel bag very well. My travel bag is full, and the only other thing that might fit in my bag (along with all my Aeropress implements, including the funnel), is a small coffee grinder if it fits inside the Aeropress itself. (There are a few grinders out there that will fit.)I have included photos to show how I have nested the Aeropress inside the carafe, how it looks with my kitchen setup, and how it fits inside my Aeropress travel bag.Enjoy!

I was at first questioning why I would need this exact carafe because it seemed pointlessly expensive but after trying to use the aeropress for multiple coffees in one of those big anchor measuring cups or even in a larger mug and splitting it afterwards it always turns out so messy and spills. This is perfect for 2 or (alllllmost) 3 cups then you can pour the rest of the hot water in and divide evenly. It’s nice that it doesn’t spill when pouring and the shape makes it nice and stable while using the press. I’m giving it four stars because I wish it was slightly bigger, 3 cups is literally at the very very top of the carafe so not practical. Also no measurements on the side so I had to mark it with a sharpie to evenly divide cups. And thirdly I do wish it was a few bucks cheaper because it is just plastic.

I found this carafe really handy as I didn't have any larger coffee mugs where I could place my Aeropress on top without having to worry about it potentially slipping.I could see how this item might not be needed if you have plenty of mugs that have a wider base but with this I'm able to make a single batch of coffee to share without having to try to pour from one cup to another after it's done.

It does the job but for this price, the material is very cheap. I can understand a price point of 400-500 for this but for an unbranded item of this material

I like having this container to brew coffee into. There is no worry about breaking glass or ceramic.

Yeah technically it is 600ml capacity. but you will only able to brew around 400ml of coffee in it.
