These are easy to use and read. I had just bought a new freezer and was unsure of the setting to use....This tells you the temp....Has a magnet on back to to stick where you want it, or a hook. Great product.

So I needed to track my refrigerator. Probably about 15 years old and wanted to make sure it was providing the right temp. It was and now I can check at will. My frig stop cooling well due to icing up the port to the frig. I cleared the port with a hair dryer and wanted to check it to make sure it did the job. It did and now I can track it. A very inexpensive fix. To think I had thoughts of having to buy a new one. And it does the job nicely It also help me figure out that my frig. Needed a new defrost heating element which was a cheap fix and only took an hour to replace.

Oh the fridge. Don’t realize how much you count on it until it stops working. Bought these two little thermometers because the fridge kept kicking on and off and I wanted to see if it was holding temps. These little dudes let me know it was indeed not and time to get a new fridge.They work well are easy to read and reset. They update the temp only every min or so, which I liked because getting hit by some warm or cold air doesn’t throw it off. Thought they were a good value.

Neither of these units would power up when they arrived in the house. After numerous attempts, we disassembled one and found that the coin-shaped battery had slid out of its proper place during transit. When correctly reinstalled, it worked fine. We then opened the second unit and discovered the same disarray as we found in the first. It was corrected by the same repair.

These work fine. I'm happy with my purchase. The only thing I don't like is false info. In the original description, it says CR2032 batteries, which is what it takes. I, however, skipped ahead, having read about SO MANY thermometers. I went directly to specs, which says LR44 batteries. So, I ordered LR44 batteries...that apparently, I don't need. Now, I have to order the correct battery. Not a huge deal, but still. The information should be consistent and accurate.
