These are pretty beefy. Very happy with them.

One of the two received is sticky in one location. It takes a lot to get it to work. I’ll probably take it apart and see if I can make it work smoother

I got these for my dad who drives a flatbed and hauls heavy loads. They definitely are durable and gets the job done. I give 4 🌟

This is a review of the AFA Tooling 5/16"- 3/8" Chain Binders with 5/16" 20ft Load Chains (2 Pack). I live on a ranch with lots of vehicles, and equipment, so this chain binder set is very useful for transporting all kinds of loads. We have a set of the lever type binders which work well, but require a lot of strength to cam over, even with a cheater bar. My husband generally takes care of that task, but I sometimes need to check loads, and make adjustments in transit. I like the ratcheting type much more than the lever type because they just seem safer, and more secure to me. This set came with 20 foot long chains and is quite heavy duty. The chains are strong enough for any load we would carry. The ratcheting mechanism works well in both directions, and everything in this set looks secure and well built. This set weighs 65 pounds, and is a little difficult to pick up and move so be prepared for that. I think it’s a deal at this price.

As you can see this item is made from the finest Chineseium steel and machined to a high level of precision. I think they will be fine for my purpose as I am only using to move my tractor around. IMHO do not try to use these before taking apart and greasing all the threads. I had to use a bar to get 5 of the 8 bolts to extend mostly because the paint on the bolts was thick and had runs. Very much like blue locktite. Cannot yet comment about the durability
