It is a simple installation, requiring no cutting of any wires. Three Position Settings: Off (no light): Device is not active and vehicle is stock. This thing really made a big improvement in the throttle response of my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. These jeeps have a terrible algorithm in the computer that makes throttle response very mushy, at any speed. The booster does a good job modifying the throttle position signal that's going to the computer and improving the response to the pedal. When installed it defaults to "race 5" mode which was too sensitive for me. I bumped it down to "race 3" which I liked better. After a while I tried "sport 7" and have left it on that setting.It's kinda spendy but I think it's worth it considering how terrible the default throttle response is in these vehicles. Installation literally took about 10 minutes.

If you have a 2011 wrangler, this little device makes a pretty nice improvement. No horsepower gain, however, it makes the gas pedal "feel" like you have more power. Instant response at take-off. I should have picked one of these up years ago.

Removed the lag in acceleration from the drive by wire accelerator. More responsive at all speeds. Press the go pedal and it goes right then. It is not a power adder but it woke up my Jeep to the point I have no need for additional power in my 3.6L. The power is there when and where you need it. Highly recommend for those who want to wake up the bottom end of their engine.

Excellent! A bit pricey, but eliminated acceleration lag. Installation was a snap after loosening the original, which took some effort after 4 1/2 years of use with no attention.

Woke up the JKU like nothing else. I have gears and a super chip and this guy was more noticeable. The wire is kind of annoying and I wish the light didn't stay on the controller. But great non the less.

Worth every penny! Had to remove lower dash panels, disconnect amp and pull it out to get access to connection at the top of the pedal. 2010 wrangler unlimited. It’s not often I write reviews...
