Absolutely love this filter. We live in an area with hard water that has been destroying our skin. I have been to a dermatologist for my itchy, flaky scalp and skin breakouts. Since using this shower, the itchiness has significantly decreased and it has improved my skin. We have only used it for two weeks and have seen such great results. It has not at all impacted water pressure and is incredibly easy to install. It is a great value, especially if you are having skin issues.

We’ve been using the Afina filter for several months now and can really notice a difference in our skin and hair. Our skin is much clearer, and we have less fall out of hair on our heads. The water feels softer and clean. Another thing we appreciate is how easy it is to install the filter. We change ours every two months due to the hard water we have up here in the mountains. I wish this could be cheaper, but we use the subscribe and save so that helps a lot.

So far so good. I’m not itching that anymore after taking a bath d/t hard water. It’s just high maintenance bec I have to change the filter every 6 months.

Haven't as yet used this filter as it is a replacement for the filter currently in the shower head. The current shower head filter emits no smell. Both skin and hair feel softer.
