How to Use This AUTO STOP Pencil Sharpener?
- Plug the pencil sharpener into a 120 V wall socket or power strip. If your voltage is higher than 120V, please use a converter to avoid burning out the machine.
- Insert a pencil (diameter within 11mm) and push it with a little pressure, it starts to work automatically.
- The pencil sharpener will auto stop when the pencil is sharpened well. Take out the pencil and you will get a perfect sharp point.

I'm using this pencil sharpener in my classroom, and it seems to be holding up well. It sharpens lightening fast which surprises the students, so they sometimes shove the pencil in harder to make it sharpen longer, but they are getting used to it. I think it is a great sharpener at a reasonable price. It works great and although it is a little noisy, it sharpens very quickly.

My third graders use this in the class room everyday and it is holding up nicely. It works fast, is not too loud, and sharpens great. We have it on our student supplies table and it hardly takes up any room. We actually have two of them…one for regular lead pencils and one for colored pencils.

Update- AFMAT reached out to me and took my complaints to heart, offering alternatives that would work for our situation. I will always appreciate a company that reaches out over a poor review and offers suggestions and resolutions. Due to the company reaching out, and the fact that this is a great sharpener for personal use, it even works well for my daughter's colored art pencils, I am keeping this product and upgrading them to 5-starsOriginal: My wife's X-Acto sharpener finally conked out after years of abuse, so I decided to order her this one and save $1 over the original brand. It works fine and does a good job. However, I don't see this as being for classroom use as the shavings bin is absolutely minuscule compared to the X-Acto. I mean, maybe 1/8th of the size. My wife's elementary classroom has 20 kids, and the bin is just too small for classroom use. It works fine for home use, so I'm not sure if I'll keep it or return it yet, but I do not believe it is really meant for a classroom.

Great sharpener. I especially like how it sharpens and stops. No more wasting pencils. I would have given it five stars, but the cord is a little shorter than I would like.

This sharpener is built solidly. It sharpens pencils quickly, efficiently & is easy to use. It is rather large & the bin for shavings is ample. It operates fairly quietly. If it lasts a long time I will be happy with the value for money. Since I've only sharpened a few pencils, it's hard to say how it will perform. I had it shipped in its actual box & it arrived intact. I'm happy with the purchase.

I was looking for a classroom sharpener and this fit the bill. It sharpens pencils and pencil crayons perfectly in seconds. I love that it has an automatic stop. So far so good! I would definitely recommend for classroom use.

Me gusta que tiene bastante fuerza o torque y rápidamente se come el lápiz, hay que acostumbrarse a operarlo con pequeños empujes para no comerse tan rápido el lápiz.Algo que busque es que la maquinaria fuera completamente de metal para que durará muchos años, solo que no puede confirmar si el equipo la tiene o no, solo confirmo que SI el rodillo navaja es de metal y la pieza que lo porta aparentemente si es metal, pero no lo puedo confirmar y por está razón no dà las cinco estrellas, además de que hay otros modelos que se puede regular el tamaño de la punta y permiten grosores mayores de lápices. En general es un excelente producto, solo que si su costo es un poco alto.

Der Stecker ist leider kein europäisches Netzteil. Ohne Adapter leider nicht zu benutzen. Konnte man leider nicht vorher in der Produktbeschreibung feststellen. Sehr schade.

Love this sharpener!! And it has an automatic stop…absolutely love that feature! No more chewed up pencils. My old sharpener would be constantly jammed up with pencil leads. Not this one!!Would 100% buy again and recommend to anyone wanting a great sharpener for home or classroom.
