My Chevy was burning lots of oil and fouling plugs like crazy, and those aren't cheap. The problem is the afm sprays oil on the bottom of the pistons when it releases back from v4 mode to V8 mode. I have been driving in third gear for the last few years to avoid it ever going into v4 mode, but not all of the drivers in my home remember to do that...after suddenly burning through 4 quarts of oil in two weeks (and fortunately checking and topping off the oil and avoiding catastrophic engine failure) I bought this. We drive the Chevy at least once a week, and this does not drain the battery in that time, and it prevents the truck from going into v4 mode, so I am back to using a quart every couple of months or so instead of every trip to town. This will save me money at this rate, and I am also getting better mileage than driving in third was getting me.

I installed this AFM disabler on my 2016 Corvette (A8) and so far (only had it for a couple weeks now) it keeps the car in V8 mode all the time. I've not checked the gas mileage, but then who buys a Corvette for the gas mileage. Also, it's very easy and quick to plug in and unplug.

After biting the bullet and purchasing the AFM/DFM - I was extremely skeptical, upon arrival installation was easy and with excitement I tried it out - and there is a definite difference in performance - then there was an ''Issue" after reaching out - honestly I was not expecting the quick response from the Company - but they Resolved the Issue with professionalism beyond my belief. I would definitely do business with them again.

When first installed on truck I saw it flip between V4 and V8 one time really quick while driving and hasn't done it since. Been using it for two days and I've noticed my truck drives better and is getting better mileage as a result! Overall good value vs paying double for the ranger version of the product. Cheap housing that feels flimsy but the product works. No instruction manual explaining the indicator lights. Red on constantly when plugged in. Blue Flickers sometimes while driving...assuming that means its working and stopping the V4 change during those times it flickers but again just assumptions.

The product didn’t do as expected and unfortunately my pickup kept setting off the check engine light and had to take it in to the shop 3 different times.🤦â€â™‚ï¸

Works as it should. I use it in my 6 cylinder finding better performance and smoother shifting. Don't get alcartied away with the throttle and your mileage will be very tolerable. Hoping this also buys me time with the AFM lifters.

I like that it's easy to plug in but I don't like that you have to unplug it when your no operating your vehicle

HHQ Disabler did disengage the V4 mode but engine started running rough at idle. Turned off engine and removed the HHQ Disabler and engine smoothed out. Reinstalled it and drove for 12 miles came to an idle engine started running rough again. Removed it again and no idling problems. I was happy with HHQ Disabler disabling the V4 mode but the rough idle was the game changer.Returned it.
