After buying the taller version from another seller, I went back to buy the smaller 12.5' collapsible A frame ladder here. I found the other ladder too heavy to carry very far but this one is perfect! I feel safe using it and it is quite portable, it fits easily in the back of a Toyota Prius or a sedan, and folds up to fit away in a hallway closet in my apartment. Throw in their responsive and kind customer service and it is 5 stars.

Very unstable in the A frame setup. its not bad when you open it straight and use it . but when its in A frame, you MUST open up the whole thing, or it slides back and forth on the unopened legs. hard to exlain, but probably need a video. i almost fell off when i had it open up half way, and then the other side started sliding as if it was trying to open itself, so shape went from A to like a catti corner. scary when y our 6 ft in the air and a fall will break bones. they do NOT have a mechanism for keeping the unextended sections from opening on its own. If it did not open while i was standing on it, i would give it a higher ratring. i use it now for ony small jobs cause i am scared to use it too much. and i am past the return period.

The ladder is a little heavy but that a good thing because it’s solid. Very compact for a 12-1/2’ ladder.Especially when you consider that it works just as well as a 6’ ladder or 8’. Very convenient once you figure out how to use it.

This ladder is great for the money. I highly recomend it. The A fram stabilization piece comes on in off so you can store in your camper with ease. Found room in a packed Motor home.

Very unstable and wobbly. Definitely not usable for anything. The little giant ladders are so much better.

Very wobbly feeling. Also be careful when collapsing or it'll eat your fingers. Good for lightbulb changes- construction, not so much.
